I featured the Heng Fang Glitter Eyeshadows on my blog back in January (here) and I can’t believe how many of you bought them on my recommendation. It was amazing to see you share them on your stories, and I’m so happy that you all loved them as much as I did. Everyone likes to throw the ‘dupe’ label on anything these days, but the Heng Fang Glitter Eyeshadows are absolutely a spot on dupe for the Stila Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows except the Heng Fang shadows are only and with free shipping too which is insane. I featured three shades in my previous post, so I bought the other three shades which I have to show you below but amazingly Heng Fang have just launched SIX new shades so I bought three of them, and loved them so much I’ve ordered the other three so I’ll feature them in the future too.
The Heng Fang Glitter Eyeshadows don’t have individual names, instead they are numbered. On the box they’re called Heng Fang Diamond Bead Light Water Fluid of Eyeshadow which doesn’t make a lot of sense but I’m guessing it’s just a translation issue. Packaging wise they’re relatively similar to the Stila Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows in that they’re both in rectangular tubes, with a clear base and a metallic lid.
The Heng Fang Eyeshadows have a rose gold lid whilst the Stila Eyeshadows have a golden lid. Both versions have the same doefoot applicator which can be used to apply directly to your eyelids and they both have an identical consistency and glitter saturation.
The shades 2, 3 and 4 are from the original six shades (shades 1, 5 and 6 are swatched here) and shades 7, 10 and 11 are from the new six shades. Although there are now 12 shades to choose from, I like that the shades are all pretty different with no crossover and they all have the amazing lightweight consistency, saturated with sparkle and a coloured base just like the Stila Glitters.
If you haven’t tried the Stila Glitters as the price has put you off, please try at least one of the Heng Fang glitters . Shade 2 has a black base with silver sparkle, shade 3 has a rose gold base and rose gold glitter and shade 4 has a copper base with silver and gold sparkle. The three new shades include 7 which is a lilac base with silver sparkle, 10 which is bronze base with bronze and gold sparkle and finally 11 is a warm dark brown base with copper sparkle.
All six shades are highly multi-dimensional and look stunning on the lids. I particularly like how unique 7 is as I can’t find a similar shade within the Stila lineup, and shade 10 and 11 are the sparkliest out of all nine shades that I currently own.
